SONG: OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM
STORYTELLER: This is the Little Red Hen. She has three little chickens.
It is seven o’clock in the morning.
HEN: Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping, children dear, children dear?
Morning bells are ringing, morning bells are ringing DING-DONG-DONG!
CHICKENS 1, 2, 3: Good morning, Mother! We wake up!
SONG: I WAKE UP!
Chicken 1: Look, Mother! I can jump!
HEN: I see, you are a sweet chicken!
CHICKEN 2: Look, Mother, I can run!
HEN: Very good! I like it.
CHICKEN 3: Look, Mother, I can dance!
HEN: Well done! I have very nice children, my chickens.
STORYTELLER: The Little Red Hen has three friends: Dog, Cat and Duck.
DOG/CAT/DUCK: Good morning, Mrs. Hen.
HEN: Good morning my friends. Let’s go to the yard and clean it!
DOG/CAT/DUCK: Oh, no! We can’t.
DOG: Bow-wow-wow! I want to run. (Runs around)
CAT: Meaw-meaw-meaw! I want to play with a mouse.
(Starts playing with a toy-mouse)
DUCK: Quack-quack-quack! I want to swim! (Pretends swimming)
SONG: HOW ABOUT YOU? I CAN JUMP…
HEN: Children, my dear chickens. Let’s go to the yard and clean it!
CHICKENS: O.K., Mother. Let’s go to the yard and clean it.
SONG: THIS IS THE WAY
HEN: Look, children, I found a cone of wheat!
CHICKENS: What’s this?
HEN: We can make a cake.
CHICKENS: Hurray! Hurray! We like cakes !
HEN: Dog, Cat, Duck! Come and help me to make a cake!
DOG/CAT/DUCK: No, we can’t.
DOG: Bow-wow-wow! I want to play games.
CAT: Meaw-meaw-meaw! I want to sleep.
DUCK: Quack-quack-quack! I want to swim.
SONG: ROW-ROW-ROW MY BOAT
HEN: Children, come and help me to make a cake!
CHICKENS: With great pleasure, Mother!
SONG: HOKEY-POKEY
HEN: What a nice cake we have!
CHICKEN 1 : Mmmm! Deliciuos!
CHICKEN 2: Yummy-yummy!
CHICKEN 3: I like it!
DOG: I am hungry!
CAT: I am very hungry!
DUCK: I am very-very-very hungry!
DOG/CAT/DUCK: Can we have some cake! Please!
HEN: Oh, no, my friends! You can’t! Who doesn’t work, he mustn’t eat! (They go and cry)
SONG: YUMMY-YUMMY TO MY TUMMY
(The Fox comes in)
FOX: Mmmm! I smell a delicious cake! And I smell a chicken!
(Fox comes to the table and starts eating the cake. Then He sees the Hen covers the Hen with a cloth and wants to take it away)
CHICKENS AND HEN : Help! Help! Help! Dog, Cat, Duck! Come and help!
(Dog, Cat, Duck enter)
DOG/CAT/DUCK: Go away, Big Bad Fox! Go away!
FOX: The cake is tasty, and the chickens are tasty, but I must run away! O.K. I’ll come another day! Good bye, Yummy-yummy, chickens!
HEN and CHICKENS: Thank you, dear friends! Sit down to the table; let’s have tea with a cake!
DOG/CAT/DUCK: Thank you!
