A mouse is running through the wood, wood, wood.

She stopped at the door, door, door.

She asked at the door, door, door:

MOUSE: Who lives in this house, house, house?

FROG: I do. Ribbit-ribbit-ribbit. I’m a Frog, and I live in this house. And who are you?

MOUSE: Squeek-squeek-squeek. I am a Mouse. May I live in your house?

FROG: And what can you do?

MOUSE: I can run, and I can bring corn.

FROG: Yes, you may. Come in, please.

Narrators: So, they started living together. The Frog caught mosquitoes and flies, and the Mouse brought corn.

A Cock is running through the wood, wood, wood.

He stopped at the door, door, door.

He asked at the door, door, door:

COCK: Cock-a-doodle-do! Who lives in this house, house, house?

FROG/MOUSE: We do.

FROG: Rib bit — ribbit-ribbit. I am a Frog.

MOUSE: Squeak-squeak-squeak. And I am a Mouse.

FROG/MOUSE/COCK: We do.

FROG: Ribbit-ribbit-ribbit. I am a Frog.

MOUSE: Squeak-squeak-squeak. And I am a Mouse.

COCK: I am a Cock. Cock-a-doodle-do!

FROG/MOUSE/COCK: And who are you?

RABBIT: Thumpety-thump, thumpety-thump! I am a Rabbit. Can I live in your house?
